Built for Speed is a 24 Ft Zeta deep V wood/fiberglass construction hull express cruiser. It was made locally in Vancouver,B.C. by a very reputable boatbuilder Zeta Marine. Captain Chris Speed has personally modified and rigged Built for Speed with only the highest quality marine hardware & Salmon fishing equipment.  Its wide 8FT beam provides stability in any sea conditions and the vessels comfortable four seating arrangement easily handles four people plus Captain Chris. Built for Speed has a canvas covered top with drop down curtain to protect you from the sun, rain, wind or spray when running to the Salmon fishing grounds. Powered by a Inboard/Outboard Mercruiser350 with 310HP it easily gets you to the Salmon quickly. For trolling while Salmon fishing it runs on a Mercury9.9 4Stroke kicker, which is quiet, fumeless & efficient. The vessel is equipped with all safety equipment which is required by Transport Canada as per charter boat regulations. Lifejackets are Transport Canada certified and are available in all sizes. The vessel meets all Transport Canada requirements for charter boat operators. Built for Speed is a member of the British Columbia Sportfishing Guides Association which adheres to a safety standard on all its vessels.

Built for Speed has private washroom facilities, a heater for cool days to warm up, fridge/freezer in order to keep snacks and beverages cool. It is equipped with a Lowrance X16 colour sounder/GPS, Standard Horizon VHF radio, AM/FM stereo. Salmon fishing tackle includes four Scotty downriggers for excellent depth coverage, Shimano 10.5ft Salmon rods, Shimano single action reels. Salmon fishing with four downriggers allows excellent depth coverage in order to locate the Salmon. Plus the many Salmon lures & tackle accumulated over the last 30 years of angling for the Pacific Salmon. On top of all this Built for Speed is sound electronically and rigged with the Scotty black box in order to give you the extra edge while angling for that trophy Salmon! This can be the edge in making your outing a special one!
