Captain Chris Speed has been salmon fishing the waters of British Columbia for over 30 years. Before starting his salmon guiding career on the local waters of Vancouver he guided the waters of Rivers Inlet, B.C.. on the central coast for a very reputable salmon fishing lodge. He has been running guided charters for salmon on the local waters of Vancouver for 20 years thru all seasons which has allowed him to learn the unique patterns of our Pacific Salmon in the lower Georgia Strait, Howe Sound & Vancouver. Built for Speed Salmon Fishing Charters was established in 1995 and is now in its 15th year of operation out of Sewells Marina in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver, B.C.

Chris also retains a 60 tonne Master Captains Ticket, along with current FirstAid training, Radio Operators Certificate, Marine Emergency Duty Tickets & a wealth of knowledge regarding boating & the marine industry. His years of guiding and salmon fishing experience in the fishing charter industry will make sure you are well taken care of making you come away with a positive and memorable experience while fishing for that trophy Pacific Salmon!
